This Terms & Conditions Policy explains how the Small Business Owners' Alliance (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses your information. We work with trusted partners, including, Redinbaugh Enterprises, LLC DBA Acuhawk Insurance Solutions, to provide valuable services and resources to our visitors and members.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Small Business Owners' Alliance (SBOA) website, attending our events, or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Use of Services

You agree to use our website and services for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of SBOA or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Media Release

By participating in SBOA events, meetings, or activities, you grant SBOA the right to capture and use photographs, videos, and other media featuring your likeness for promotional and marketing purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, and print materials. If you wish to opt-out, please notify SBOA in writing prior to the event.

Member Logo Usage

Members of SBOA consent to the use of their business logos and related branding materials by SBOA for the purpose of promoting their affiliation with the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, inclusion on the SBOA website, marketing materials, and event promotions. Members retain ownership of their logos and may request in writing the cessation of their use by SBOA. Upon such request, SBOA will make reasonable efforts to remove the member's branding from its materials.

Limitation of Liability

SBOA shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our website or participation in our events and services. This limitation of liability applies to all damages of any kind.

Membership Revocation

SBOA reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at its sole discretion, without prior notice, if a member's conduct is deemed detrimental to the organization's interests, violates these Terms and Conditions, or contravenes any applicable laws.

Such actions may include, but are not limited to: unethical behavior, harassment, or misuse of SBOA resources.

Code of Conduct

Members are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior.

This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Treating all members, guests, and partners with respect and courtesy.

2. Engaging in honest and transparent business practices.

3. Refraining from discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior.

4. Complying with all applicable laws and SBOA policies.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.

Sponsorship Contributions and Refund Policy

All sponsorship contributions made to SBOA are final and non-refundable.

By making a sponsorship contribution, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with sponsorship benefits or event outcomes.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
